Apple Swans

Garde Manger

Check out our fun Thai Mango Salads Lab!  We are on the Garde Manger unit and students have been exploring the science behind emulsifiers, the history of salads, and how to garnish.  Students in Intro haven't had the chance to plate a lot this year, but today they go to be creative.  The recipe is attached under the recipes link.  Enjoy!

Holiday Cookie Party

Students created pizza dough with gourmet toppings to learn commercial kitchen smallwares and large equipment.

Honors Restaurant Design Project

Honors students have been working hard on their restaurant design projects for the past few weeks.  Students had to create a logo, find a target market and location, and had to design a floorplan.  Students designed a menu and created a dish from their menus for the class to try.  They even picked out their flooring, linens, and flatware!
